It has been devised by leading hotel consultancy, Horwath HTL and the Australian Hotels Association.

HEXCO 08 will comprise a day of plenary sessions featuring industry experts in a wide range of disciplines. In addition, the annual MAXXotel Best of the Best Awards (the only hotel industry awards based on hotel operating performance) will be announced during the opening night dinner cruise.

The conference will bring together hotel executives from hotels, serviced apartments and other accommodation types, as well as hotel management personnel from companies throughout Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific, regardless of brand. Attendees will range from general managers and senior department heads of individual hotels through to regional, national and state executives of hotel companies.

HEXCO 08 will enable management at all levels of the industry to meet and share their experiences regardless of brand, as well as hear from external industry experts, thereby supplementing brand specific training programs.

HEXCO 08 will reinforce industry loyalty and will help management at the pit face of the industry to better meet their hotel owner’s and hotel brand’s goals, as well as their own personal development goals.
